Grumpy cat never fails to make me laugh. That kitten OTOH... I don't know that cute is the right word there. I'd keep it if it were mine, and I'd consider it if I saw it at a shelter, but that has more to do with favoring misfits, rather than any desire for a freakazoid cat.

Not sad, it's smart. Kitten is fucked up and the mom naturally knows not to waste time keeping those fucked up genetics alive. And it's just like us humans to stick our grubby little fingers into nature and think we're helping.

I just looked up hamsters eating their young. It seems that there's a survival tactic at work along with other factors. Having the hamster in a place that six graders had access to didn't help either.
