I had an arcade box years ago I sold, the snes is just plain shitty. n64 is better but still shitty.

I could imagine the 360 version looking good no doubt but I'm kind of bored of the KI fighting system.

KI was great, KI2/Gold weren't as good.
I don't have alot of hope for KI3 to be any good, but we will see.

I think the fighting game genre has really declined over the years.

Maybe its because I've gotten older but the 90s and early 2000s was great.

the street fighter series, MK series, virtua fighter, samurai showdown, tekken, doa, the vs series and whole host of others.

then again Arcade games were hot during those times. So who knows. Maybe with SF4 coming out it'll kick start things again.

God I love K.I. I hope if they do make a new one, they either A: include an arcade perfect port of KI1, or at least release it on Xbox Live. I'd gladly pay 50 bucks just for KI1

I'm going to have to agree with that. SNES and the N64 versions were weak and nothing compared to the arcade versions. You just can't even compare the two.

actually IMO it's the exact opposite, 95% of the things he says DO come true. i remember a few months after gears came out he was saying that gears 2 would be out in 2 years at xmas time after halo held the 360 during the holiday season of the current year.

i truly truly hope they make another ki game.

oh and i just wanted to plug this since it fits perfectly in this thread.

I have KI1, KI2, MK1, and MK2 that all go in there.

i won't say ki on SNES was awful, cause at the time it came out that is ALL we had at home console versions ... but yea, i agree, compared to the arcade version as a whole, it was lacking HHUUGGEELLYY.

well there definitely are a ton of rumors he talks about which are about genres/games that i don't give 2 craps about, so maybe the ones that aren't true are those. but typically the ones i remember end up being true the majority of the time.

The article I read, yes in the Gears of War 2 issue, was that while "journalists" where at RARE discussing another title, developers at RARE stated that they had begun development of KI and had full intentions of releasing it for 360.

I'd say about 50% of the them have come true, and I've been an EGM subscriber for the past decade. So... just saying. You obviously see it one way and I the other. I'm not exactly motivated to read through the past 150 issues to make a spreadsheet of rumors.
