This is a dark day. Here's what you see when you go to rarbg.to

Hello guys,
We would like to inform you that we have decided to shut down our site.
The past 2 years have been very difficult for us - some of the people in our team died due to covid complications,
others still suffer the side effects of it - not being able to work at all.
Some are also fighting the war in Europe - ON BOTH SIDES.
Also, the power price increase in data centers in Europe hit us pretty hard.
Inflation makes our daily expenses impossible to bare.
Therefore we can no longer run this site without massive expenses that we can no longer cover out of pocket.
After an unanimous vote we've decided that we can no longer do it.
We are sorry :(
Bye

You know . . . and this is going to sound callous, which I guess it is.

I'm one of those folks that didn't have any serious problems with the pandemic. Self isolating, for me, is de rigueur.

But . . . with this, I now feel the pain.

That's me too. Only problem for me were the lockdowns and standing in long queues outside the supermarket for groceries. If the world changed to keep us 20 hours inside our homes, I wouldn't really have an issue with that.

Sounds like an overall crappy situation for everyone involved in running it. It's always a tough decision to shut down a site/service.

How are you still alive? Must be the kids taking up all your time. And ATOT.
Kids and being able to pay for a monthly unlimited music/movie/TV show service. Much rather pay for Netflix and Amazon Music and have instant access than trying to download a questionable video file from unknown source at 50 kbps. At least that's how it was last time I did it.
