Raptors okay to overclock?

Hi.

I heard that it's not safe to FSB overclock when using SATA hardrives. Is this true? I have an ASUS A8V mobo with a 3000+ Athlon64 which I was hoping to eventually overclock to 2400-2500MHz. I currently have it clocked at 2160MHz (240 x9) with the voltage at 1.456. It's perfectly stable with the idle/load temps as specified below. I can't go higher right now because of my crappy memory (which I hope to replace soon, suggestions?). Thanks.

P.S. Anyone know a good place to learn about OCing memory? I am pretty ignorant right now about latency and voltage issues when it comes to memory. All I know is that CAS 2.0 is key and that 1:1 ratios are a good thing, but I would like to get some more in depth knowledge on this issue before buying some new memory.

P.S.S. Does anyone have benchmarks of the WD Raptors vs the Maxtor 16MB cache drives?

P.S.S. Does the A8V support Native Command Queuing?

Maxline/Raptor reviews here is One

As far as NCQ support... I dont think the A8V does. Currently only intel boards have NCQ support. The Nforce4 board are supposed to have NCQ if you are willing to wait and have to have it. You could also find a controller card if you are willing to drop the cash, and not willing to wait.

I know with the nF3 250GB that SATA 1&2 can hold back an overclock but I don't know if it is the same with VIA.
