Ran HD Tach each of the Raptors in my system, (no longer RAIDed) and the burst speed for one of them is only 8.2 MB/s! On top of that, the CPU utilization is 90% and the avg. sequential read speed is only 7.5 MB/s. What the hell is goin on?
Is this due to a bad cable? Maybe something is set incorrectly in the bios? The other raptor performs at spec. Anyone got ideas? Thanks!
