Raptor 150GB & TLER

How do you disable TLER in the Raptor? The drives they sell on WD, NewEgg and ZipZoomfly are bare, oem drives with nothing but the drive.

So how do you disable this and also can NCQ be disabled as well?

They ship with TLER disabled don't they?

You turn off NCQ at the driver end of things, it's a clickable option in harware manager i think.

why would you want to disable these?

Because NCQ hurts single user performance and TLER does the same and shouldn't be used for non RAID5 type setups.

WD's website may have a utility to do it.
