What is with the underwear? Looks like a crazy homeless person with a silly golden chain.

I am endlessly perplexed by how there are so many rappers I have never heard of who have apparently made a skillion dollars.

The idea of walking around wearing 17 1/2 pounds of gold seems insane to me, both in terms of the weight and the extreme security risk. Clearly I am much more of a pragmatist than the good Mr. Plies.

Also that jangles like cheap tin crap, gold sort of "THUNKS" rather than "clinks".

This. I guess if you can buy that chain you can buy some guys to help you secure it, but that much gold is worth a few risks.

How many rappers have you heard of? I didn't know AnandTech was a big haven for rap fans.

I have not really been a rap fan for a long time, though I was when I was in college, 20 years ago. I have heard of quite a few current rappers but not Plies. Is he a big star?

Me also.

*edit* didn't even watch the video, but from what some others posted here probably BS to begin with.

This, exactly this.
I couldn't understand what the fellow was saying, and kept wondering why he wouldn't buy a shirt and belt to go along with whatever that thing is he wears around his neck.

I don't care if you're all cracked up on whatevar, you're not going to hold near 17 1/2 pounds with 1 thumb without more flex and weight in the joint. Let alone swing it around without any torque in your mid section. The dude prob weighs 120 wet.

FAKE

The thing weighs prob 5lbs max.
