He has been shot nine times and stabbed.
I wish I was rich and famous.

That was before he was rich and famous. He is a real life thug.
I heard there was a recent attempt on his life by some gunman. fitty cent will end up dead soon enough.

Yeah, there is a price out for his head. He is heavily guarded 24/7.
Price on his head. Now ask again if you think that Keysersoze is jealous 🙂

52,000 SQ ft

for 4.1 million?

WTF, places in Scottsdale, AZ and many other places will sell a 5,000 sq ft house for 4 mill...

😛

When you're a brain-dead imbecile you tend to look drunk all the time 🙂

Jackson bought the property from Tyson's ex-wife, Monica Turner Tyson, who acquired the mansion for $1 in 2002 as part of a divorce settlement.
ouch to Big Mike

Not the best move by her...If I was her, I would acquire the mansion as a "gift", so when I sell it, I would be taxed the difference of the selling price minus $2.7mil, instead of $1.

YES, Still jealous. He's got money, and therefore he's got girls. Despite having the IQ of road-kill.

I gotta wonder what 48,000 sqft means. Total space? Or living space?

This has got to be in the middle of no where. That ~50,000 sqft(living space) mansion in Dallas that went up in flames was worth $49million. Granted that was on 10 acres, and each acre was worth about $2.5million.

It wasn't one song.

More like an album and tonz and tonz of concerts.

That ONE SONG allowed him to sell the album and fill concert halls.

One song is all it takes bra!

If you go to The Hartford Courant website, and register (it's free, and amazingly they don't spam you), you can see pics of the mansion from inside and outside. I've seen it from the outside, and I must say, it's extremely impressive. A guy named Ben Sisti built it, he went to Federal prison for some real estate scam I believe, so he had to put it up, that's when Tyson took it over, now, 50 Cent. Here's another article from todays paper about when he came to look the house over. Note, he paid for the house IN CASH! How disgusting is that?

Rapper 50 Cent In The House
The Hip-Hop Artist Goes Mansion- Hunting, And Finds Just What He Wants In Farmington

September 29, 2003
By MARK SPENCER, Courant Staff Writer

FARMINGTON -- Dozens of people had looked at the house, for it had been on and off the market since 1997, but so far there had been no takers.

As real estate agent Curtiss Clemens Jr. waited for another potential client to show up this summer, one thing was certain. Whoever bought the house would have to have a lot of money.

The house hunter pulled into the driveway in a rented, $250,000, bulletproof, silver SUV with tinted windows, followed by a Mercedes, followed by a BMW. Money, apparently, would not be a problem.

The rapper 50 Cent, wearing an oversized baseball jersey and baggy jeans and a baseball cap on sideways, had come to check out the mansion formerly owned by Mike Tyson. So had his two bodyguards, his broker, his accountant, his manager and three members of his crew, G Unit.

The 50 Cent legend holds that he escaped his crack-dealing youth on the violent streets of Queens and rose to the top of the hip-hop world.

He was shot nine times in 2000, an episode heavily promoted by his management team. On Sept. 8 of this year, at least 10 shots were fired as he and his associates entered a hotel in Jersey City. Police there are still trying to figure out what happened, although they said that 50 Cent was not cooperating in the investigation.

But here in Connecticut, Clemens said, 50 Cent is just trying to get away from it all.

"He's looking for a place to hang his hat and have his privacy," Clemens said.

The house should be able to accommodate both desires. It is on 17 wooded acres, covers 52,000 square feet and has 25 full baths, 14 half-baths, 18 bedrooms, two billiard rooms, a movie theater and a workout room.

Yes, it's the place off Poplar Bars Road built in 1987 by former Colonial Realty swindler Benjamin Sisti, who was recently released from a federal prison, and the place that Tyson, the former heavyweight boxing champion, bought in 1996, but rarely visited. It's the place he put on the market the next year for $22 million, eventually lowered to $12 million.

It's the place that Monica Turner Tyson acquired for $1 last year as part of a divorce settlement with Tyson.

50 Cent went over every inch of the house, showing particular interest in the workout room full of seemingly untouched equipment. He was low key, Clemens said. Polite. He signed an autograph for the caretaker's nephew. His entourage was down to earth.

"It wasn't at all what I was expecting, just because of all the hype you hear about a big time rapper," Clemens said. "He was just a nice guy."

Five minutes after the group had left, Clemens' cellphone rang. 50 Cent, born Curtis James Jackson III, had an initial offer: $4.1 million. Cash.

50 Cent is on tour in the United Kingdom, but Thursday his representatives closed the deal on the house. Clemens said it would be the rapper's primary residence, although he does not know when he will move in.

Farmington police, for one, would like to know. Curtiss Clemens Sr., who was at Thursday's closing, said that 50 Cent's representatives said they want to meet with the police. Clemens contacted Police Chief Michael Whalen on Friday and gave him a phone number.

"The guy wants to be a good citizen and a good neighbor," the senior Clemens said.

Clemens, of Century 21 Clemens & Sons, said he had a previous buyer for the property, a wealthy philanthropist who wanted to turn the mansion into a weekend retreat for a group such as Big Brothers and Big Sisters. The buyer backed out, however, when neighbors objected.

50 Cent has been living in the same small apartment he had before he hit the big time. His multiplatinum album, "Get Rich Or Die Tryin'" features the hits "In Da Club" and "P.I.M.P."

Joining 50 Cent at his new home will be G Unit, the younger Clemens said.

50 Cent already has some plans for his new place. First, the security will get upgraded to fortress-like status.

And then there is the issue of the pink bathroom.

50 Cent took one look at it, then turned to Clemens.

"This has got to go," he said.
