I love how one of the guys who took him down was wearing a pink shirt. :D

Amurica! Freedom!
Except for those gay people of course.

Typical Texas conservatism. The guy felt that he had the freedom to beat up a "gay", who was just a guy who thought he had the freedom to wear a pink shirt.

Is there such a thing as a conservative who is NOT a hypocrite?

It's an airport! There's a good chance that all involved were simply visitors or layover passengers.

You can't really knock all Texans though considering the amount of bystanders that pinned the guy the second he started swinging -- including the older gentleman in a cowboy hat.

No matter what the media/whatever will lead you to believe; The percentage of rednecks in Texas is actually pretty low.

I think the cops should have picked him up and asked the guy in pink shirt if he wants to give him a free kick to the nuts.

Such a sad, sad attempt at trolling.

He's such a nice kid. That's how I remember him, with a childlike wonder of the world. He was on his way to graduate from college, but got sidelined with outside influences he could not control. This was all a misunderstanding and I hope an investigation revealed why he was assaulted. He told me he only delivered a sandwich to another passenger, and then got tackled and beat up by multiple people.

Hats off to the passengers that stopped the idiot.

Thumbs down to the idiot, "Going through life fat, drunk and stupid is no way to go through life, son."

The guy was pretty pretty gay though. I doubt it was the first time he was attacked.

The guy in the pink shirt (bystander, not the one being attacked) broke his ankle. I think around 1:22 you can see him fall down at a weird angle and you hear a loud crack/crunch. Later you see him in the wheelchair and can even hear him say something along the lines of "I broke my ankle".

I didn't see it at first but then read Youtube comments and sure enough, it happened. Boy did I cringe though. I can't watch that video anymore b/c I know I will look for that ankle crunch sound. Ugh, shudders.

Truth. I moved from California to Texas I find Texas (Houston to be exact) to be MUCH more open minded than the places I lived in California (LA and the Bay Area) Even the Mayor of Houston is a out lesbian something which has never happened in California and I dont see it happening anytime soon in any of the major cities.

Well because California has a whole city dedicated to gay people (San Francisco) so they don't need a gay mayor.

The whole SF is for gays only is HIGHLY exaggerated. Unless you never leave the Castro you will quickly notice that the people who in the rest of SF are not different than in any other city.
