I can't tell you how much I get pissed when I read a post and someone tries to make a humorous joke by starting up here..........



























and finishing down here, usually only with a wink or a "j/k"!!! 99.9% of the time the post is completely stupid and not humorous at all, and you've scrolled all the way down to find that out! :| Sorry I had to do the same to you to make my point, but is it just me being to anal or is this beyond obnoxious to anyone else??

Hate to tell you this, but it's likely you being anal. (I know this because I'm the same way). They say everybody's a comedian. The problem is, there are a great many un-funny people out there trying to crack jokes. 😉 My pet peeve goes a step further, I hate that people can have a 10-line sig. Consider a FS/FT with bump posts that each take up 10-15 lines, even though the actual text is "^". Now -that- gets my panties in a bunch.

Yes, it's annoying, but no, there's not much that can be done about it.
It doesn't break any rules unless you say that it's purposely making the reply window format way too long.
