God damnit. So its 5pm in my apartment, and I'm sitting at my computer when I hear a knock at the door. I'm not exactly dressed so I start to put on clothes when the gf runs in telling me someones at the door. I ask her "who is it" expected her to tell me so I know what to expect. Instead, she runs out there an answers the door, before I'm finished dressing.

Comes back a minute later (barely enoug time for me to get dressed) and says it was some guy asking about a car and she just said we don't have one so he'd go away. So, I ask her what'd he ask about the car and she says she didn't really understand so she just said we didn't have a car. I asked for more information, was he from the complex, or was he just someone from a local garage. Nothing, she has no information to give me at all.

Of course, I'm thinking what if some bozo hit my parked car and they're looking for him, or they're about to tow someone car, and they're looking for them to move it before they do, or something. Oil leak and they're trying to find owner. So many possibilities and all she can say is "if we wanted to know something about the car, we can go to the shop."

WTF?! It'd be too late if the car was smacked up and whoever hit it is gone, or I just had to pay 200 bucks to get it back from the towing company. Bringing up all my points about how she should have just waited for me to come out there, asked him to repeat what he asked, or ANYTHING but making him go away before she knew anything about the situation and all she can repeat is "I don't care okay, we can go to the shop to find out something about the car."

I decided to end the conversation before certain curse words started to come out along with my arguments.

I'd yell at her for being annoying and dimissing a situation such as the one you described, either that she could pay for your tow bills.

I tend to not yell unless I'm damn damn angry. I start to cuss before I start yelling, but I was getting there.

No, there isn't anything wrong with my car. I went down there to check after the arguing and checked on it.

I'm just angry she wasn't smart enough to look at the entire situation instead of just thinking about getting rid of unwanted visitors.

So what did he want? ...or is there not enough information for that?

Also, can I get on the list? :p
