Anybody else seen that commercial... guy walks up to chick on the street: "Hey, could you tell me how to get to.." she pulls out a can of mace and sprays him with it, he is writhing on the ground when the can runs out, then she pulls out her tazer.

Let us hope so. I don't want women getting the impression that men are weak and readily gullable to their needs

If you don't need help of some kind, and you're not hitting on her or talking to her to see if she's worth hitting on, and you haven't been standing in an otherwise empty bus stop for 10 minutes so you say something out of sheer boredom...why else are you talking to her?

I know what you mean, man. It's like when I'm in dance class and I ask some girl to dance. There's certain ones who get this attitude like I'm in the class only to meet women and that they're way out of my league or something. Now if I was interested in picking them up or dating them then they might have a valid point, but the fact of the matter is I like dancing and if I ask you to dance, it's probably because you're the closest one to me currently, not because you're hot stuff.

On what part? That I'm in a dance class, like to dance, talk to women, or not interested in hooking up with every single woman with whom I talk?

Hmm, it is kind of annoying when they initiate the conversation and then suddenly and rather obviously slip in the "my boyfriend blah blah blah..." line when you haven't even shown much interest.

Rarely happens, though, at least in my experience.
