RANT: Why do car manufacturers have to integrate the stereo so much with the dash

Your point was that they made the dash hard to work with.. You bought the car, deal with is. I do plenty of car audio and know well it has nothing to do with money, just tons of effort. If it's too much work to spend some extra time to make a new stereo fit, then you shouldn't do it. Car manufacturers make the car functional, not made so you can change it easily. You guys just wanna get off easy, and that's certainly not the manufacturers goal in designing their cars.
