Rant: When driving please do not continuously press the brake off and on for no reason!

I was behind someone yesterday who was coming up to a stoplight that was GREEN and slowed down to 10mph, so slow that obviously it turned yellow then red. If he had just kept going at the speed limit we would've been long past the light when it switched.

People need to fvcking relax. Way too many uptight drivers are in the world. Take an extra 5 minutes and enjoy the ride people; stress is going to kill you. :p

If someone is riding my ass I'll drop down to the speed limit just for them.

While we're ranting about brakes - for god's sake, if your brake lights don't work, please don't bother to fix them. I really enjoy being kept on my toes by suddenly slowing vehicles without that convenient red visual indicator. Makes my life more interesting.

Unfortunatly the Honda isnt a manual so that leaves that out. Did it to some van on the highway today, didnt seem to get the message. If mom wasnt with me I woulda brake checked the hell outta him

seriously, this is one of the things that pisses me off the most while driving. i spend about an hour each day on the expressway doing an average of 65mph in tight, two-lane traffic. there's nothing worse than someone in front of you that feels the need to show you their brake lights every 30 seconds for no reason whatsoever.

i live in a community where there are a lot of old people and they have a knock for this. at 5am one day i was drivng to work and this old lady in front of me, not ONE other person on the road, put her brakes on AFTER a green light she had gone through. There was no way to turn (median) and she was in the left hand lane. i honked, she just kept on driving, and stopping, and driving, and stopping. finally got around her, white haired, huge glasses, and she could barely see over the steering wheel. people like that should NOT be driving.

Not an age thing. Usually these dweebs are throttle on/brake on. There is no in between. And if it bugs you, you are not concentrating on your driving enough ;)

What really is annoying is over-brakers. Those are the folks that extend the gap in front of them while braking. They follow at under 2 seconds, then brake to make it a 3-6 second gap. To do that, they brake harder than required. As you brake, you watch the numbnut on the cellphone behind you eating up the gap to your rear bumber...

Lola's aunt cannot walk without the aid of a walker and another person, but she drives...

you're a bad man.

Works great for getting a-holes off. Even though I can be accelerating really fast as long as they see the brake light they usually back off.

I don't tailgate, and I don't mind people doing the limit, but I am bugged by people who vary between 10-5mph under the limit for no reason what-so-ever.

if you have the option to get the F out of the way (ie. 2 lanes, as I was referring to), i'd hope you at least exercised it before playing with your little rigged-up brake light button.

Of course. I'm always the fast one (but I don't tailgate, I'll pass on the right if i have to). It hardly ever gets used, and when it does its on 1 lane roads.

People who play games with other drivers shouldn't be too suprised when one day somone flips out on you & makes a serious attempt to take your life... too many serious nut-cases out there on the road to screw around... when I used to drive for a living I saw it happen every couple of days.

maybe he's pumping the brakes because he doesn't have ABS and his brakes are locking.

I doubt it. My car turns on ABS every second on slush roads and this road i didnt get any ABS thingie, so i doubt his wheels was locking up due ot no abs.
