RANT: Vonage sucks

So I decided to cancel my vonage account because I switched over to Sunrocket. After having been given the run around for 20 minutes I am placed on hold for 54 minutes. After that, the cocky CSR tries to give me more of a run around and not cancel the service. To top it off, they don't pro-rate the usage for the month, so I get to eat the remaining days of the month. To top it off even more, they have a disconnect fee, $40 @#$@$ dollars. Thats's absurd!!! I'll be glad to pay that to get that monkey off my back. Vonage and Citron are money sucking leeches who will try anything to stay afloat. It's no wonder your stocks are tanking and you will all burn in hell!

Go Sunrocket!!!

same thing happened with AOL.

I said f*** that and told the credit card company to block that automatic purchase. Needless to say, I never got another call from them ever again.

An Internet telephone compnay. You bet it'll be fun calling their customer support...

It's like Tmobile, half of them don't know what's going on. They give you bull just to get done talking with you. I hate it.

Their bonuses probably don't include customer satisfaction.

Interesting. I cancelled with them about a year ago without fees, or hassle. They were superpleasant. I almost felt bad cancelling because of how nice they were, but I could only get DSL at my place and didn't need Vonage on top of regular phone service.

And, they spoke english just fine; had good ole' American accents (for anyone fearing overseas routing of their calls).

I'm actually going to RE-SIGN up when I can switch over to cable.

MD.
