I bought the Logitech wireless mouse for my laptop last night and it took me 20 minutes to open the damn package. Why do companies have to vaccum seal their items now? It was a nightmare getting it opened. I took a pair of scissors and nearly sliced my right hand trying to pry open the plastic end.

Theres a tool out there, no idea whats it is called. However its a pair of heavy duty scissors. Of course the @ssholes put it in a blister pack. Their slogan is: (something like) "the last blister pack you will ever struggle to open". I tried googling the slogan to get a link to the product but my google skills are weak.

That plastic can be some wicked dangerous sh!t if you're not careful.. I've sliced many a finger trying to free one product or another from the confines of this evil packaging.
 
i just stab a sharp knife into one part of i and slice away, never had a problem or even came close to hurting myself...what the hell?

AMD used to use blister packs for Athlon XPs and the early Athlon 64s.
 
I bought a pocket knife before that came in blister packaging.

WTF I needed a knife to get out my knife!
