*RANT* Subway's misleading coupons

I have a $1.00 of a footlong sub if i buy a drink and chips. There words "Meal Deal" are printed on the coupon.

But when I give it to the cashier, he charges me separately for the drink and chips. no "meal deal" discount. i asked him whats up with that! he said there isn't a way in the computer to take coupons when you ring up the Meal Deal.

the meal deal discount is only $0.25. so my coupon was actually only $0.75, but it's the damn principal. I'm toooo tired of all the bait and switch gimmicks everyone seems to be doing nowadays 🙁

I'd like to get some Subway coupons. Subway has a contract at my university and since I'm considered fac/staff, I can use my ID card to get 10% off. 😛

not worth arguing about $0.25. i just wont go back there unless it's one of those coupons that requires only the purchase of a sandwich. ie: $.50 off a 6", $1 off footlong.

Just be glad you don;t live in my area in Hawaii....freaking independent owners of the Subways I frequent (Enchanted Lakes Shopping Center) never do ANY of the national deals/coupons...
