Rant: Stupid reviews on Newegg

Seriously, I'm not that misanthropic, nor do I lack a sense of humor, but it's getting kind of old how people list ridiculous cons in their Newegg reviews.

I just read one for a $19.99 DVD burner, the con was "doesn't come with something free, like a laptop or plasma tv 🙂"

My response to the above: no shit it doesn't come with something free, whytf do you expect it to come with something free you greedy bastard?

On a similar plane: cons for OEM products that say "cables not included."

My response: you dumbass, that's what OEM means. Wake the fuck up.

And lastly, why do so many people feel the need to kiss Newegg's ass in their reviews? Yes, I know Newegg rocks, but that has nothing to do with the product being reviewed. Besides, I'm fucking giving my hard-earned money to Newegg, is it too unrealistic to expect that I'll get my item as promised?

I also find it annoying when people rate a product down after they realize they bought the wrong item, not because there was something wrong with it.

Pros: what kind of pros could this thread possibly have

Cons: I bought into this thread because I thought it would contain a rant about the actual crappy reviews from people who are amateur and or just plain stupid but it sorely disappointing and was far off the marker

Other thoughts: I assumed this thread would contain directions to funny or idiotic newegg posts but it came with no such documentation, Steer clear

This thread clearly states that it does not lack a sense of humor when it obviously does. Totally misleading. Newegg needs to fix their descriptions.

I was trying to make a reference to the newegg posts in my attempt at a humorous recreation of said posts.

By documentation I was alluding to your lack of links to illustrate the shortcomings of the posts you so despise. OMGEEZ the interenetz is MEEEN to meh
