I am planning on going back to school while working.

I finished my application and turned in my transcripts 1.5 months ago.
This was all done after calling up admissions, 3-4 times. Visiting the admission office with a schedule office visit, in which case the couselour wasn't even there, and finally talking to another counselour.

After all of this trouble, I get word that they somehow never received my transcript!!! :|
Pisses me off. I just sent it in, and they say it will take 3 weeks to process. I am really pissed about this because that severely will limit my class choices if/when I get in. Their admissions is terrible!

I'm re-applying to two colleges I'd already been accepted to a year earlier. This time I don't like my chances as much (got a 1.83 GPA last quarter), so I'll feel like a real dumbass if I don't get in.

I agree I wish they could make the transcript request process quicker, I'll pay an extra dollar if they can send it within the week.

Anytime I have to deal with my college, I fully expect to get screwed somehow. It never fails. I never once have left my college campus when I have to take care of some specific registering business or whatever without feeling like I just got reamed.

My wife is in her second year of grad school - and as of the start of the semester, the office told her it had never received her transcript. In fact, she had her undergrad school send it three times, and even hand-delivered it once. Fortunately they still let her register.
