RANT: stupid agp card

Does anyone have any idea why they changed the threading on the agp cards?

I had a old motherboard and video card I used on a test box for several years. Decided to upgrade the motherboard and cpu, added the ram, and found out the the video card threading is different. Basically, need to get myself a new video card for that motherboard.

Why would they change this?

Aside from forcing users to buy another video card.

It's all part of the "screw you" conspiracy. 😛

you can probably get a faster card than that 1x piece of junk for about $25 over in FS/FT. these days, i figure that an upgrade=new mb, cpu, memory, and video.
