Boot'em and suck it up and realize that there are @ssholes everywhere. Or, don't promote them and tell the parents exactly why. If you've got the head instructor behind you, you'll stand a much better chance.
 
Yeah - well, like I said, I talked things over with the instructor, and he's been thinking the same thing. What we're doing right now is looknig over the kids to see if they are ready to go up, and some of them aren't making it through 🙂 (I'd rather have perfect green belts than a studio full of sh1tty black belts any day) - and we traditionally beat on them the week after promotion, so it's all good 😀
 
Well, since it's mandatory teaching where the students have to be there whether they want to or not, br prepared to face a lot of blank stares for the semester :disgust:

Although, sometimes, when there's that kid who actually enjoys what you're doing, it makes it worth it (imagines the first time his student kicked another kids . . . oh, nevermind 😉 ) 😎
