If you don't like the game fine. If you think it's the worst thing ever fine, but coming into a thread on JKII and making silly comments about it that are totally off topic has become quickly redundant. If the thread topic is: "Do you like JKII?" then have at er. I agree there are a lot of threads on it but they'll die down soon enough. If somebody is already playing the game do you really think your opinion on how bad it is means much?
 
i just bought High Heat Baseball 2003. it's alright. haven't played JKII yet though. so i guess i don't know why i am posting in your thread Skoorb. sorry. 😀
 
Pretty cool so far, only one real error I see int he game, Ky;e's Sabre was never Blue, Rhan's was green it got busted and he took that kid's sabre it was yellow 😉
 
Maybe people were getting annoyed at all the new threads being posted on JKII every time someone got stuck again.

Haven't played or even seen the game, so I can't judge that, but Star Wars sucks hard.

I beat it yesterday. Here's a tip: use Strong (Red) LS Offense. I wasn't getting anywhere with blue or yellow. Try pushing him also when he jumps.
 
My brother bought it and he likes it. Especially once he got the lightsaber. 😛 We made a deal. He bought JKII and I bought Freedom Force. Next time I visit, we're swapping games. Freedom Force rocks btw.

high heat was the most dissapointing game i've ever played. I know the triple play series sucked bad, but everyone said high heat series was the savior of baseball games... too bad Triple Play 98's graphics are better then High heat 2003's. I could be drunk and design better character models then those things... Chipper Jones looks like he has a hunchback and weighs 105 pounds.

So back to jedi knights... yeah i like the game, especially mulitiplayer lightsaber battles... it's even "funner" then counter-strike for me right now but I'm predicting the hype will die down soon for me and i'll go back to rocking with my ak47.
 
hehe i guess i'll use the jedi bashing thread to bash jk2🙂 game is kind of old school don'tchya think? its only after you get force powers that it gets sorta fun😛 after playing games like mohaa you just expect more i guess. all fps games should have more detailed objectives, not just a vague kill em all or something😛 there should be a compass or a map... switches should be models that stick out instead of a lame texture. wtf is with that? a texture? eventually i just got pissed and had to bind a key to "noclip". sometimes u miss a switch or a small hidden vent or something and you end up wandering. wandering isn't fun. game is very old school that way.

on another note, the weapons are pretty funny. even if your point blank you can miss a couple times hehe. i guess that sorta makes sense in the starwars universe😛 i wonder if they are going to reveal that the storm troopers are bred as cyclops or something. no depth perception = sh*tty aim? kinda like a vorta thing.. i dunno😛

but the character models aren't bad. best looking c3po/r2's i've seen in games so far😛

I agree, High Heat Baseball '03 sucks. Can you believe that I could not find anywhere in that game a way to change the controls? Or even see what they were? Maybe there is a way, and I'm just too dumb to find it, but either way I looked for 15 minutes and saw nothing. That game was officially uninstalled after the first time I exited it.
 
JK2 is a pathetic excuse for a game, and completely undeserving of being in the same series as Dark Forces 2. No game in recent memory features worse level design, the puzzles are inane, the textures are bland, and the end is probably the worst since Eye of the Beholder.
 
man i love fighting with the lightsaber, it is soo much fun, those reborn try to jump over me i use force pull and slam down them with my saber in heavy mode. JK2 is soo fun!
 
I don't like the game too much. I'm real good at the multiplayer saber duels, but the single player isn't really captivating. Too much "Find the button, backtrack, repeat." I beat RTC Wolfenstein in 6 and a half hours, Red Faction in 3 and a half, and I've spent 5 hours on this game, and I'm only on the second mission, because of all this damn button hunting. It's really annoying.

Is that the one where you can play as a superhero? Or make your own superhero? It looked like X-Com with superheros, I had it, Jedi Knight 2, and HH Baseball 2003 in my hands. I ended up only getting the baseball game because JK2 was too expensive. 50 bucks for a fricking game?!? Grrr.

I'm gonna have to break down and go buy it this next weekend though. 😉

Freedom Force is the best game I've played in a long time. VERY ORIGINAL. It took me about 15 hours to play through the first time but I almost immediately started through again to play with new characters I created. Not to mention the multiplayer rocks over a college LAN. My X-Men team owns the campus 😛

whats with the lack of extras anyways. no 3d sound, no force feedback(yes mohaa and serious sam2 had it, now i almost expect it) for my ifeel mouse. seems like they released it early or said #%@ it.

I just beat the game today. Dasann was EASY!!! Become invincible, and come at him with speed... Never knew what hit him... I started playing the multiplayer alot within the past few days. Well, when I'm not reading David Sedaris' 'Barrel Fever'
