A friend of mine we'll call bill from college owes me $60 for fantasy f-ball. We have a mutual friend we'll call doug. Doug is my best friend and Doug and Bill are really close friends. Doug owes Bill $75. I have this conversation:

me: yo
him: yo
me: whats up
him: chillin u?
me: i need that 60 bucks from you
him: yeah
me: doug owes you like 75 bucks, i was just going to tell him to give me the 60 out of that
me: is that ok?
him: hold on
me: ?

and he proceeds to ignore me like a cheap fvck.

Doug doesn't owe you money, Bill does. Let Bill and Doug figure out their own financial situation.

Get the money from Bill. If he doesn't pay you, you should drop him from the league, or his team goes on suspension until he pays up.

Getting involved in some kind of money circle always gets messed up.
