RANT - Shoe size

Why is it every place within a convenient drive have all stopped selling 11 and 1/2 as a shoe size!!!?

Every dang year of my life, I've been able to purchase shoes with nary a problem, but absolutely freaking suddenley, I guess every person that wears a shoe size 11 and 1/2 must've dropped off the face of the freaking planet. Now it looks as if I'll have to spend mucho on a pair of danged shoes 'online' where I'm sure that I'll have 'fit' issues and it will end being a big freaking hassle to buy online. I'm talking about I'm poor and I'd like to spend around 25$ and that is it on a pair of shoes - just like every person with a size 11 or size 12 foot can do just about anywhere!!!!

WTF!!!!!

AM I THE ONLY FREAKING PERSON THAT WEARS 11 1/2 shoes? Or have stores and manufacturer's lost their minds?

Size 9 pwns you all, except for the fact that I need the wide version of shoes since I got that part from my father 😛
 
What are you complaining about......... it should be easy to get your shoes.......... try getting the more common sizes............. hard as hell to find on sale 🙁

You guys try to find styles? I wear 14-15 and I usually buy 3-4 pairs at a time, no matter the brand or style.
 
im 11.5-12 and i find shooes just fine
sucks to be you

my friend will is a 15 and he has to special order his shoes

Can imagine, Im a 13 and it can be a pain sometimes, it's not like we are THAT rare, there are a decent amount of people who wear 13s.
 
I wear 14's and when I find the rare place that carries my size, I leave with several pairs. Mostly, I shoe shop online now.
 
My 13 year old bro wears 11.5 (and he's still growing). I wear 9.5-10 (wide feet). He bugs me about it, I punch him in the stomach. Fair trade, imo.


Oh, and he was able to find sneakers w/o a problem at Foot Locker, even though it did take a few pairs for him to find one that fit comfortably.

Hell just trying to find 14-15 for me is a damn pain in the ass. I usually have a pair of shoes for years because of that.
 
Try finding a men's narrow (pick whatever adult size you like above about 8 -- they carry narrow in the smaller sizes that are mostly for kids). By narrow I DON'T MEAN D WHICH IS THE NARROWEST MOST STORES CARRY IN MEN'S SHOES. I mean narrow as in 'A' or 'B'. Difficult but not insane since I moved to NY. Back when I lived in Tampa it was very insane -- we actually ended up going shoe shopping in Atlanta 450 miles away once (while around there anyway looking at colleges), since there was literally no place less than 300 miles from Tampa which carried narrow. The other option would be like a women's 15 which is actually easier to find than a men's narrow 13 and with sneakers you can get away with it.
