I believe there is no longer need for me to use shockwave/flash... it seems that the only reason to hae them now is to view ads that I have otherwised blocked...
I am using mozilla and adblock adin, and most of the ads I see now are those annoying flash ads that you cannot block, other than not installing macromedia in the first place...
Does anyone else feel that there is no need for flash/shockwave as well? It seems like the only ones utilizing the technology are annoying advertisers... I mean, come on.. don't you hate those oversized ads that are on cnet.. how about those flash ads that block whatever you are reading until they finish playing or till you hunt for the close button?
