Rant: Replying to PMs/Voice Mails

Ok, if I send you a PM and you dont want to help me out the least you can do is say your a little too busy or make something up....dont just ignore it!!

Second, if I take time out of my day to call you and leave a message on your voice mail can you please try and return the call instead of again just ignoring it.

If i don't like you, why would i bother replying? If your just sending random messages you should be ignored. Not to mention not everyone here is religious about checking for new messages, or don't care care enough about people on these forums.

I could live knowing that i never replied to a message you sent me that i have no interest in and thus caused you to hate me for the rest of your life. If i truly give a rats @$$ about you, i would either be talking to you face to face or over the phone, i do not form friendships online.


Things change however if that person first contacted you, or your replying with information they requested. Then they are being a [insert inappropriate term]

I feel like that sometimes.

I admit that I'm terrible about returning messages, and most of my friends know it. But, I'm Mr Fixit in my circle of friends and acquaintances, so 99% of the time if I get a message it's someone wanting me to do something. I can only make up so many excuses, and some people never catch the hint that I can't be bothered with every random problem that they have. (I have plenty of my own troubles)

So, I figure if excuses wont work, maybe the cold shoulder will get them to take a hint.
