Rant: radio legal disclaimers

WTF is wrong with radio these days? I just lietened to a 45 second commercial for some radio contest... and 3.5 minutes of legal disclaimer (spoken in incredibly fast english). Even 3-4 years ago there was maybe 1 line of legal disclaimer: "you must be over 18/21 to enter." It's really sad that the legal system has degenerated so far that even a simple contest needs pages and pages of disclaimers read aloud just to happen. The worst thing is they make short pauses so you think they are done, then they start up again. ARGH!
 
heh, yeah, law is sad these days, and people abuse it, so many law suits over things that shouldn't be in a court of law....and people winning cases when it's obvious they didn't do anything wrong.....
