My company uses Quark for magazine design and publishing. It still seems to be a defacto standard in that industry.

thats really too bad.

part of my final project is to create an advertisment using ps/illustrator/quark... it's a lame 'intro to computer graphics' class so i have to use the program :(

Odd cause Quark is the industry standard for layout. I used it today as a matter of fact. Love 6.0 and it works great.

We're also in the print industry but we've stopped using Quark a long time ago - in fact we've already modified our spec sheets to not include Quark created files.

Which doesn't matter anyway, out of the couple hundred artwork we get in each day, we're "lucky" to get at least 1 made in Quark. Most of the time the artwork is made in Illustrator or Freehand.
