'K, every day for the last week here at the UW, there's been this preacher in Red Square... gopunk, you may have seen him. He preaches to anywhere from a group of ten to I think as many as fifty people at a time, depending on who has free time... I stopped and listened to him for about twenty minutes...
I've never been so angry and frustrated with a Christian in my life... he was giving this fire-and-brimstone message, claiming things about Christianity that he didn't back up, either factually or logically, and it was very frustrating to see this crowd of people ask honest questions and get a jackassed answer (although I think the majority of them were there for entertainment value).
*sigh* I was on the verge, for about five minutes, of walking up to him and asking him, from a Christian to a Christian, to leave the campus. It's hard enough to be a Christian on a liberal campus and hold my own, theologically and socially, without having someone creating this false image of Christianity and Christian demeanor.
*sigh* 'K, I'm done.
