Cliff Notes version: Jerkweed hits my car from behind and runs from the accident. I am POed.

Coming out of the bank I'm switching lanes and then making a left turn when the jerkwad behind me... prolly not paying attention or is a general scumbag doesn't slow down when I make the left turn.

Stupid person was riding my tail after the lane change and didn't slow down even when I slowed to make the turn.

Smacks me in the driver side rear corner as I'm finishing my turn! Whoever this d1ckw33d is doesn't stop after they smack into me in fact, they just take off and run outta there. I get the car turned around and gun it to try to chase down this jerkwad but since I'm completely spun around and TRAFFIC KEEPS GOING, I can't find them.

ARGHGHGHGHGH!!! FUSHIKEN FRIGGIN FUGGER!!!! The cops tell me they're going to file a hit/run report so that I'm protected and nobody can come in and try to claim that I hit them. They were nice but the thing that pisses me off is that NOBODY gave a rats @$$ when I was hit. The fact that my car suddenly changed angle didn't clue them in either...

It was at night so I couldn't get a clear picture of the car that hit me especially since they were behind me and all I could see were headlights. That friggin SOB deserves to eat turd and have that excrement shoved into their genitalia followed by vigorous caning.

Since they hit me from behind, they were at fault and I bet whoever did it knew that so they ran. One of my friends was hit by someone that didn't have a license or insurance and they ran too, but it was broad daylight... nobody helped him and he had the chase the guy down himself. I bet that turdhat I hit didn't have insurance either.

No clue... witnesses were no help and it was too dark to see what they or the car looked like.

Wow this just happend to my friend too. He was parking his car and someone reversed into him. They both stopped and the lady gave him fake information and said she had to go. He said OK. He didn't know that when an accident happens both parties should not leave the scene. The cop said it's now a civil matter so that sucks for him. He tried calling the lady's so called insurance agency. The insurance company said they have no known record of the lady. He just got royally effed over.

Yeah, I was on the receiving end of one of those. I got hit really hard and spinned up onto the sidewalk.

Luckily someone got the license plate, but the Police dept never followed it up! Bastards!

My grandad was in a hit and run. He got hit, the guy hopped on a plane and fled the country. Thankfully when he came back he was prosecuted and got sent to jail for manslaughter.

It probably helps with insurance purposes if the accident report is for a hit and run. His insurance might go up, but it won't go up as much as if he had caused the accident himself.

An old lady tried that with me, but I was able to get all the info I needed... she was a wench, wouldn't talk to me about anything... I finally went over her house, got her Plate # and had that ran

I think the driver was without a valid licence, only 17, might have been drunk, and had no insurance, and he fled the country. He might have been drunk as well. Safe to say he wsn't even close to driving legally. He was lcky to only get manslaughter.

But hit and run to me means someone getting hit, not a couple of cars having a bump. When cars knock, that's an accident, if one driver runs, its an accident where a driver runs, not a hit and run to me. More an accident and run.

My dad got nailed by a hit and run driver once.... the guy ran because he as a 14 year old who stole his parents car for a joyride and ran a stop sign.


...kid's probably STILL grounded. (should be about 25-26 now)

Edit: oh yeah, they found the car by following the trail of radiator fluid.
