I hate people that don't use the *FRICKIN* turn signal. Pisses me off so bad :| Is it really that hard? A second of movement by your left hand is all that it needs. Oh, don't forget those asswipes that put on the turn signal 1 second before they frickin turn. Grrr. What's your biggest pet peeve about other drivers?

Turn signal problem is quite annoying in big cities where vehicles move very close to each other. Also those drivers that don't use their turn signal when changing lanes. Grrr.

Two lane highways where, in even the busy hours, trucks slowly pass other trucks at about 1mph. I can go on about two lane highways and the idiots who use them, as I just returned from a long road trip through California.

I enjoy tailgaters.. I always do a brake check and slow down considerably like an asshole. About half the time they get so pissed off that they'll try to pass me in the wrong lane (this is one-lane city driving mind you), and end up making a fool of themselves as I speed up to prevent that illegal maneuver from happening. I usually go about 35-40 in a 30 zone, so if someone tailgates me it isn't because I'm driving like a moron.

I know! I was on US-460 and about ready to get on I-81 and this lady infront of me reaches the merging point at 60 mph and suddenly slams on the brakes with no traffic on interstate! :| Cops should ticket people like these :|

I've had a run lately of being behind someone who--for no reason I've been able to figure out--just started driving slower and slower, eventually getting down to a near-crawl just before reaching the light as it turns yellow, then flooring it and zooming through the light (which is now red).

Other than that, there are the people who decide to make a left-turn from the right lane when I'm driving in the left lane and the people who get up to the light in one of the through lanes, realize they want to turn left, and then stop and wait for the next light cycle when they can get into the line of cars in the left turn lane.

I'd have to say people going under the speed limit by a somewhat significant amount(5-10mph) is my biggest peeve.

My biggest pet peeve about other drivers is that roughly half of them are women.

Tailgaters piss me off also...I used to own a huge Ford 4x4 and I had a sewer pipe rear bumper....any asshole who tailgated me I just stomped on the brakes and it took care of that ;)

people occasionally forget to use their turn signals.

i have an example for you. im driving home after getting some groceries. around my development the speed limit is 30, so im driving around 30-35 mph. i gradually slow down and make a right hand turn onto my street. this jeep behind me honks at me and then as it passes, it brakes at odd intervals. now, i stop completely in the middle of my turn, b/c i dont understand why ive been honked at and esp b/c i dont understand why the jeep down the road has stopped twice (erratically). i think that perhaps this is a friend of mine, even though i dont recognize the car. therefore, i immediately pull a u turn and head out after the car. he makes the next right and i follow. shortly after, he pulls to the right side and pull up next to him. at this point i realize that i have no clue who this guy is - some middle aged white guy. he then asks me if my turn signal works, and i dont understand why he asks, so i just respond with a "yes?". he then drives away...

now, after all this, i know i should have had my signal on, but sometimes ppl forget! i was not driving erratically at all. this guy just decides to be an as$hat. his erratic braking down the road was more troubling than my turn without using a signal.

What about a situation when you are stuck with a caravan of cars? The right lane is typically all occupied by trucks, so there's only left lane available. I was the last car in a caravan, and seeing how it's going to be impossible to pass for a long while, I simply pulled back a bit (additional car length) to give my reflexes a bit more time in case they are slowed down by a long drive. Mind you, the caravan is doing good 75-80 mph.

So, this soccer mom slowly gains on me and starts tailgating. wtf are you tailgating for? Caravan is good 20 cars, you can't pass them anyway. So, relax and kick back - it's a long drive. But no, the open space in front of me must be driving her nuts. She makes all these half-hearted attempts at passing me on the right in between trucks, but each time she hesitates to do it, and ends up blocked by another truck. Finally she makes a mad dash for it, but by this time I'm so annoyed with her style, that I step on the gas and close the gap in front of me completely.

I will never forget her face and the face of her mother in the car. The must have seen the devil himself behind the steering wheel of my car...

I hate it when somebody doesn't use their turn signal and turns into the lane like a maniac. If you're not going to use the signal, at least turn into the lane graciously. That way, I may only resort to expletives instead of giving you the bird and screaming: "Word to ya motha."

People who don't understand that when a traffic light has no power you treat it as a 4-way stop. I drive a big car. If I'm going through and you hit me, don't sue me if the impact winds up crippling you.

Also, people who won't let you in when you're trying to merge. Or people who drive 10 mph under the speed limit in the fast lane. I've been known to attempt to ram both. They usually move once they realize I'm not f%$#ing joking.

You're not supposed to unless you're making a right turn. Left turn signals do no good unless you can see where the person entered the roundabout, and in some you have no way of telling where they entered from.

People who tell such stories are as annoying as the tailgaters. WTF, did you gain out of this besides potentially causing an accident? Both of you and the soccer mom are idiots!
