But that's not the case. The lot is FULL everyday. I just happen to get to work much earlier than most people that park in that lot. Yes I do have to walk quite a bit further than anyone else, but at least I know one side of my car is protected. There's a new car everyday parked next to me. My rant was based on the fact that no matter the car, no matter the day, and no matter how much I try to keep my car free from these dings, it seems I am going to have some eventually because people don't care to give me the space that I am so obviously trying to achieve. I just hate that.

BTW, no ill hate or anything towards you with earlier discussion. Some people have love for things that others think is silly and it just will always be that way.

I hate that too.

Once I had a woman pull up in a Lexus LS400 and ding my GS300 while I was sitting in it. Then she had the nerve to yell back at me after I blasted her for being an inconsiderate wench (a bit more diplomatic than that). Some people are so clueless its frustrating. She was lucky she didn't leave her car because she would have had a foot through her window if she did.

Woah dude, my head would have exploded. What did she say back? And why would she give you a ding, yet not leave her car??

I did explode. She opened the door to get something out of the back. It was some old lady and I gave her a piece of my mind about courtesy and respecting other people's property. She yelled back at me that the dent was nothing blah blah blah and how I shouldn't get wound up over something as small as that. Fortunately, she put a ding inthe door handle which wasn't as noticeable instead of the sheet metal or I would called her out. :)

I was in my old Prelude SH when I got another bad ding too but it was during a torrential downpour and I was making out with my GF (future wife) so I didn't bother to check. That was a significant dent because the woman (always seems to be women) hit me with her old Volvo.

Always keep a mag light in your car. If you come out with dings on your car, put some REAL dings in their car.

I remember when I lived in South FL and drove a Honda Scooter for a short while. I parked it at the mall one time, came back after shopping and some lazy SOB had moved my freaking scooter so they could get my parking space. I was livid but did nothing because the car that was there might not have been the one where the occupant moved it. The fact they couldn't drive around and pick another spot and instead chose to get out, move my scooter and then drive up in MY parking spot indicated what true asshats they were.
