RANT: My college's servers go down so frequently, its annoying me :(

It happens every frickin other day. Their web servers / mail servers go down so frequently. And let me remind you this is a technology school. Does your college has the same problems? Or did it when you were in college? It's just annoying because basically they want you to base your communication on the email adress they give to you, yet I can't reach my email frequently because their servers went down :|

Like... do you live in the dorms and they just get so crappy at nights that it's unbearable to use them... or literally for DAYS ON END you get NOTHING at ALL.

In my dorm days after 10AM and until about 3AM the network traffic was so unbearable because people were using napster (then later morpheus) all the time, from the moment they woke up until they went to bed. Then the college blocked the usage of napster and things were so fast all the time that it was awesome. Hooray.

To be more specific, their whole network crashes during the day. It crashed like half an hour ago and didnt come back up for 15 minutes. I live off-campus. I wanted to check my email, I couldn't. Wanted to check my classes, couldn't. Etc, etc, etc.
