He left for Pennsilvania about 2 weeks back on work and is coming back tonite. However he doesnt tell me which flight he is coming back.. only thing i get is "hi manjul, i am coming back tonite at 11pm bye".

which airline, which flight!!! Where the fsck am I to wait? As a rule in our family if anyone is flying (even on official work) he should give his airline ticket details and also give his SSN and other personal information to the closest relative or trusted friend. He broke one of them.. he left is SSN and bank details on his computer but that was it.

I hate it when people tell you to do something and then dont tell you the detailed instructions.

thats pretty lame of him, i worked out with my roomates that whenever one of us is getting picked up we always go to the same spot so theres never any confusion.

That wasn't very responisble of him. But if you go to the airport, won't you be able to figure out which flight he's on from the monitors? You have time and city. Are there more than one arrival areas? Maybe you should just let him get home by himself to teach him a lesson ;)

Edit:

<< but this is LAX on a Friday night!!!! >>

is it too late to call him?

Good luck finding him. I don't know about LAX but if it is anything like our airport (which I assume it is since all this terroist crap) you're not going to be allowed to park outside of the arriving flights section and just wait for him. You'll have two choices: 1. keep circling the airport until he pops up or 2. park and go inside and wander aimlessly until you bump into each other.

I had to pick up my dad last week from the airport and I had to circle for 30 mins. till he showed up. Guess that's the price we pay for increased security huh?

Okay I just got a call from him. I had assumed he would be coming back via America West (he flew with them) so my logical thought would be check all flights from his place to LAX via that airline..

Thank god he just called to say that he is now flying Continental and this tiem I made sure i got the flight number.

i am serious there isnt a bigger idiot than him.

There you go...I was about to ask "Why not just have him call from his cell?" (everyone should have at least two cellphones)

He he he .........he seems more intelligent than me !!
so this is what happened :

I usually fly United cos' that's what I have got everytime on Priceline.
So the last time I went to NY - I didn't even check the flight name b'for I called my bro' to tell him the time etc.
And asked him to pick me up at United terminal.

Only at the airport check-in I realised that I was flying with N-W !!!
And I don't own a cell.............neither does he !

So I decided that I would jus' walk down to United arrival once I reached Newark Intl.
Boy !! It sucked 1. No one knows / talks in English there : Jus' Mexican :disgust:
2. The two terminals are so far away that I got lost !!

And he was MAD !! after I finally got to him after 1 1/2 hrs !!!!

Then we had to wait for my friend who was coming with his g/f for 2 hrs. more .........but that's another story !!!
