I remember when I rode the bus I could sleep pretty much no matter what. Course, I got to know people and so they were polite since they knew my situation (2 jobs + school), but I remember I fell asleep a couple of times standing up on the bus. It was fine until we'd stop, when I'd awake and most/all the people on the bus would be staring at me wide-eyed. You just aren't tired enough.

Actually, I rather liked the rant. It reminds me of one time my then g/f and I got on a plane and sat in front of some lady who was speaking like that (in Cambodian or Burmese or some such)... It sounded so strange that my g/f started busting up in laughter, which got me going.
