rant: MVP 06 a rip off

I've been a big fan of EA's MVP baseball series (got mvp 03,04,05), but now I see they're coming out with MVP 06 which is going to be a NCAA thing. I'm like ok, if you have nothing to renew (other than, now they use aluminium bats... duha) then why do you bother me with NCAA crap?
I like MLB, and I was looking forward for the new game, since they used improve dramaticaly from one year to the next, but now its going to be at least 2007 before they come up with a new MLB game, unless they decide to go high school league or softball...

EA games bought NFL rights so in retaliation 2K Games bought MLB rights. Only 2k Games will make MLB games now which stinks because MVP Baseball 05 was superior to ESPN Baseball.

I'm speaking of the pc version though with all the great mods available for it.

I was not aware of that.
But if that's the case, this truely does suck.
Maybe there will be mods for it on the net which let you transform it into MLB?! 🙁

I guess I won't be getting MVP baseball this year. The features all seem pretty lame.

The guys over at MVPmods.com are working on it. They are modding 05 into 06 with new rosters, schedules, etc...even making the new Busch stadium.

Check 'em out. They do awesome work.
