So completed this deal with this guy on another forum where I sold him some RAM, this is in mid to late Oct. He tells me he got the RAM and will be testing it that weekend, then leaving me heat. Fine, no problem.

A week goes by, I still haven't heard from him so I drop him a very polite PM asking him if he wants to trade heatware... I hear nothing from him for a week. So after a week I figure he's probably wanting me to leave heatware first for one reason or another... No problem, the deal was smooth, so I leave him heatware and check the "request feedback box". No news from him for another 3-4 days even though I see he's logged in since then.

At this point I'm not happy about this but maybe something's gone wrong. So I send him another PM asking him if everything is good with what I sold him and if he could please drop me a heatware eval. Nothing for another two weeks.

Fast forward to tonight, I'm cleaning out some PMs when I see his'. Now I'm not at all happy with him and send him the following PM
Hi,
It's been over a month since I've completed this transaction with you. I didn't want it to come down to threats but I haven't heard anything from you for a solid 2-3 weeks. If I don't have a positive heatware eval left to raynor_wolfcastle within a week, I'll leave you a negative for lack of communication. Please leave me an eval for completing my end of our deal.

Thank you,
Chris

I went to watch TV for an hour, come back and boom, what do you know is in my inbox "Heatware Feedback Notification".

What the hell is wrong with people, is it so difficult to write a 2 line comment about how someone else upheld their end of the bargain in a deal you had with them? It's happened to me before that people just stop replying to emails/PMs when they get their items and just refuse to acknowledge that you even exist any more. :| I'd let it go until now, but not anymore: I'll start threatening negative evals from now on, apparently it's the only way to get people to react.

Someone please tell me if I'm being unreasonable in expecting a timely heatware response.

Amen! I had to bug this guy 3 or 4 times to leave me feedback.

BTW good call on the lack of communication, I'll do that next time if it comes down to it.

Yeah I'm tired of letting it slide, so that I'll be doing this much quicker from now on, I'll give them 2 notices in 2 weeks after I leave my heatware before I start threatening. It's amazing how fast people react when you threaten to destroy their "Heat: <large number>-0-0" sig line.
