*RANT* LOW SPECIAL PRICE!!!....in advertisements when it's not(console games)...

Anyone else find it annoying as hell when Sunday ads for console games advertise something as "LOW SPECIAL PRICE!" and then have it ***cough*** on sale ***cough*** for $49.99 which is the same damn price you could buy it anywhere at anytime.

Also annoying is when they advertise something in a paper not at a sale price, but then have the audacity to put a little sign by the games in store that say "As seen in our ads". Really...you don't say.

:sigh: I guess if you are going to waste the time advertising something...at least make it cheaper than what it normally would be.

not necessarily. Some people just don't know how much games cost and think that a game that is on sale for $49 is normally $59. Not everyone knows that the price of games is normally $49. Obviously it must work since they are paying people loads of money to make up these advertisements. Trust me, they don't do that stuff accidentally.
