OMFG I am SO GD pissed off. I let someone borrow a radar detector of mine like 6 months ago. It passed from his hands to his friends (he went to Fl state and didnt want to take it)

This "person" he gave it to has been avoiding me for like 6 weeks now. I got FED up tonight, and got his # through like 3 other friends. I let him know I was driving to athens to get it myself if it wasn't at my girl"friends" dorm in the next 30. She told me like an hour ago she would be there.

So, I call get to let her know he was on his way.

She doesn't pick up her cell phone.
I call again
NO ANSWER
I call the dorm
NO ANSWER
I call x10
NO ANSWER


FINALLY she picks up.
"well, I decided to go eat"
W. T. F.
So I call "him".
no answer.
no answer

Looks like I'm driving to athens.


:update:
she called back. He was waiting at her door to go get it. She went inside to change (call me and let me know) and they are going to his dorm or truck or whatever to get it back. we'll see.

I hate when friends let there friends borrow my crap. People seriously need to respect objects that do not belong to them.
 
I would be ready to pound that guy into the ground if I was you. But, that will only get you in trouble over something so trivial in the grand scheme of things. Take some deep breaths and go get it when you've calmed down.

many people I know USE it like a pager. They DONT f-ing answer it. WTGDF is the point????

If I didn't answer my phone I would buy a pager. Why the F not???


It's not because they don't want to talk to me, it's because they cant hear the ringer (TURN IT UP IDIOT) or left it at home, or some other stupid reason. ARGAGGGG

Simple reason? Because if it's an important call, you'll leave a message and I can call you back on the phone.

That's how I operate. Caller ID is a marvelous thing. If your call is "private", "unlisted" or flat out a number from someone I don't want to talk to, I simply just hit the "ignore" button.
 
oh that's smart, so your female friend is going to go off with this guy who you already know is a creep, to a location that you don't know. why does she have to come with him to get it? why didn't he BRING IT in the first place? that's total bull, i hope she is ok. maybe i'm just paranoid, but that's just fishy.

she's fine. he's a friend within our 'circle of friends'.

she already came back with it.

the reason she had to go get it was he waited outside her dorm room door for like 15 min while she ate or whatever.

my rant is circled around
1) people that borrow stuff w/o returning it, and even worse AVOID you over it
and MAINLY 2) people that dont answer their damn cell phone.
