RANT: Is no one in ATOT Original anymore?

I was just noticing this, it's really bad tonight...

Reposts can be annoying, but i can excuse that... (the reposter may have not looked back far enough, or searched for something else)

The thing that chaps my A$$ the most it all the posts with common topics all made within a couple minutes each other. I was looking over the last 6 pages of posts and there were atleast 6 topics on people with TI calculators, there was 3-4 topics on cell phones, 3-4 YAGT's, and a couple on shaving down below

Edit: had to correct mispelled title

The sum of all human knowledge has already been posted on AT, therefore all posts are reposts.

well it's because people see threads that make them think of other questions about the same topic. but because they are a different question than the one in the original thread, they have to make a new thread, lest they hijack the original one.

Yeah, yeah that's the ticket!

From what I can tell, most people who post here are male and computer literate. A lot the forum members appear to be in the 16 to 25 year old age group. The threads you see posted here are topics, women, cars, drinking, college, parents, etc that are important to these people.

I suggest that you check out other forums, for example the Washington Post forums, if you want to converse with different groups of people.

nobody's original. we are all the result of a corporate cookie-cutter effort to mold us into their ideal consumer.

😕

I'm fairly sure that this phenomenon has a whole lot to do with someone reading somthing on a topic and then going "Oh yeah, I've had x experience - lets post about it". Except in the case of totally asanine parody threads.

I know I'm guilty.
