Rant: I HATE CYBERPATROL!!

I HATE CYBERPATROL!, and not b/c it won't let me at the pron.
my parents gave me their computer to try and fix and cyber patrol detected ini file tampering and won't let me on the net. Freaking program, now i can't figure out how to get rid of the program with out formatting the entire system. Anyone have any ideas? i've deleted all the associated files that i can find, as well as all references in win.ini, and registry. What gives?
(and yes i know it's slightly off topic)

Have you tried un-installing the program through the control panel?

If not, then give that a shot.

I personally have never messed with that type of program, so I wouldn't know. Best of luck!

Do NOT simply delete or throw away your Cyber files!
CyberPatrol will consider that tampering, and can prevent any Internet access. You must use the Uninstall option:
CyberPatrol 5.0: Select Uninstall in the Headquarters icon menu.
CyberPatrol 4.0: Select Uninstall in the Headquarters File menu.
