Ok first, every couple of weeks they cut our service because we are using a router. SO we have to call them and unplug the cable modem and router and we get service back.

When watching digital channels, or any channels on TV, the image will freeze, or we will get huge artifacts (digital signal) across the screen.

Right now im so insanely annoyed because im trying to watch the Cardinals and the Cubs play yet the connection cuts and the stream has to rebuffer every 5 secs. John Rodriguez belted one in the first inning. I hear "And here is the pitch, long fl- BUFFER". Later in the game i hear "Line drive.... BUFFER.... WHAT A PLAY". They are messing with a man and his sport.

I should not be having problems streaming a 300K connection on a 2mb connection.

No, they drop our connection. The MLB game being buffered constantly i know has nothing to do with our router.

They are horrible in the Fredericksburg area.

Have you ever called customer support. I was on hold waiting for someone to pick up for over 1 hour a few times. A 30-45 minute wait is common as well.

Damn you whiney bitches. Try rolling over where I'm staying where you can't even get decent cable and have to pay $50 a month for crap 128k wireless internet with ghetto taiwan hubs (not even routers) that require you to unplug and cycle them every two hours to keep the internet going (did I mention that I also have to log in and keep connected or they log me out) Frankly, I can't wait to get back to LA and embrace Adelphia's service.

After every fvcking rain or thunderstorm the service dies.

Not always, but sometimes.

The TV, when a Thunderstorm is near, gets very very grainy static behind the picture.

Screw Adelphia.

I just moved to central Pennsylvania a few weeks ago and this is the second week in a row that I have had at least four days of downtime.

Basically since I have been here I have had 50% downtime. This is completely unacceptable and I plan on subscribing to Verison DSL as soon as I move to my permament residence.

I have Adelphia cable internet service, and they've been nothing but good to me over the years. They had some growing pains in the start a few years ago, but I've not had downtime in so long I can't remember how long it's been. Plus, they upgraded the speed 50% up and down a couple of months ago, and I've been loving every minute of it. Only bad thing? I feel it's too much money, as I pay $60 a month for 6Mb/768Kb. Worth the money, though, over crappy Bellsouth DSL.

Growing pains. They filed for bankruptcy years ago, and IIRC they were just bought by Cox, or Comcast.

Has anyone in the Fredericksburg area noticed that the Internet and the Cable were out for the past 6 hours? Adelphia has given no word, there is nothing about it on their website, and their phone number doesn't work anymore.
