RANT: How do you predict, the next CyberWings?

Due to my own stupidity & greed I was burned by CEO Shawn J White for $29.50 because of all the damn P5 "WHAM BAM KIZAM SHIZAM" plans and those "sales" he was having on IRC. LOL the good 'ole days.

Well a few weeks ago I was going to sign up with ExoHosting.com because of this special, I even contemplated getting a free 10 day trial account to test them out. I came very close to getting that trial account and eventually signing up. Fast forward a few weeks and guess what ExoHosting.com's site says?

ExoHosting, Inc. have discontinued its hosting services starting from Sunday, 19. Jan 2003, but will remain our server co-location and consultant service. This issue is happened due to our company are currently having some internal arrangement to divide separate vocational work to different department to provide better service and support for our customer.

Our currents customer website will not be affected by this issue. For our customer who want to contact us for further enquiry or technical support, please contact us via email.

We apologized if this issued bring you any inconvenient, if you are one of our current customer, you will be inform shortly via email about our latest circumstances.

During my research I finally stopped thinking it was all about price ... Don't I want a web host who has great support, wants to be PROFITABLE and will be around in 5 years? Yes, yes and yes. So after I finally (took me a long time) learned that $ is not everything I signed up for a web hosting reseller account with HTTPme.COM (Aussie Bob for you WHT'ers here). It has been the best decision I ever made.

Tonight I had a moment of weakness and went back to thinking $ is everything, then I ran across this sale. How can they possibly offer all that for only $13.50/mo? That seems unreal.

Yeah I have a few accounts there also but from last year, they'll expire soon.

Also have accounts with 2 other web host providers as well.

I'm selling some web hosting services so I break even every month which is nice.

If it sounds too good to be true, it probably isn't. I seen that Cyberwings thing coming long before it really did. It sounded like such a fake attempt.
