RANT: Googlegear and processing time.

Ordered a hard drive from these bums yesterday, early morning. It is now 11:38 pm and the hard drive is STILL marked as "packed." I can't believe how slow these people are. This is incredible. I got lured in by their free UPS 2 day. Should have just stuck with newegg.com. I'd cancel if it wasn't for their damn "no cancellations" after packed status policy. Why can't they all be like newegg?!? Ok, I'm done whining now. 😛

yeah i usually got with newegg if its not that much more. the price difference of $5 or so is not worth me waiting 2 days for them just to ship and another few days for it to get to me. newegg gets things to me 2 days from when i order it

Yeah. **kicks himself for giving them a shot at his business** Well, they'll regret it because I make the purchasing decisions for my business. I'm sure newegg won't mind that at all, hehehe.

*cough*. Plus, I think googlegear updates are run several times a day, not instantly as status changes.

Who knows, maybe your package shipped today and will show with the next update?

No need to be facetious man, I read their policy-- my rant was about how slow they really are. *cough* If you'd read my post properly instead of trying to look cool you'd know that *cough* I think we need some cough drops in here. 😉
Facetious? I was trying to be snide, but facetious works too. 😉 But yeah, it does reflect better on NewEgg when they say they're slow but process fast, versus GoogleGear's "we're slow... and we mean it!"

And I think I saw cough drops over at NewEgg before, maybe even some altoids. 😀
