Ok, so the driver's door moulding has been missing off of my van for a couple of years now. I've seen a bunch of Dodge/Chrysler Minivans with their moulding missing, so I think the workmanship on those part are really crappy.

My parents decide to go ahead a replace it. 94 freakin dollars from the dealer. They said to just go ahead and get it. So I call up the dealer and the guy says that he will hold the part for me. I go in and then the guy tells me that he sold it and they don't have anymore. Then I ask them when they'll get more in stock, and he says that he'll have to special order it. At this point I'm pretty angry with the service I've been getting. He doesn't ask if I want to order it, nor does he offer to order it for me. I just leave the parts dept. without the part, thinking I can get it somewhere else (and for cheaper).

Freakin Dodge....

wasnt there just a thread about the Jetta doing this? Between my family, we have owned 8 Dodges in the last 4 years, and not one has lost its molding. I guess mopar families have better luck ;)

I have a 1995 Dodge Caravan I bought new and it is still tight as a drum. No moulding falling off at all and I don't treat my vehicles that well.
