K our "induhvidual" came down, said her mouse gets dirty alot, and do we have another. Sure, gave her a spare we just got in with our hp server.
(with a 16 port kvm, we've got spares) She called a few minutes later that it wasn't going, so I run up there. They'd smelt smoke upon inserting the new virgin HP mouse, and reinserted the old microsoft. SO I tried swapping in another hp mouse, and the first, and then did a tear down/rebuild/clean of the microsoft mouse. none worked, then I restarted, with one of the good mice, it worked, so I swapped in the other, no go, put back the HP, and still no go.
Then I realized it was a 95, threw the old mouse on it, restarted all the way, told them not to disconect the mouse while the thing was running, and she goes,
"Why?"
I tell her, "Get 10 yrs of electrical engineering, a few degrees, and sit down with Bill Gates for 3 hrs"
"I have a degree, in newspaper's" She goes, "And already talked with Bill Gates" I took the good mice, and left her rambling
and just now finished putting an amd 500 into an old aptiva that only took it to 428.
