Not true..the limit is $14,999.99...after that, you have to be verified

well b0mbrman, IMHO a $2000 dell is valuable enough to need ID verify. a lot of people can forge money orders and stuff too

oh and BTW, by the time somebody grabs your BIN and then never pays, youre already up the creek with your listing fees. by then the damage is done. the only damage control you can do is block them, stopping further expense.

EDIT: props to freejack. well said.

oh and vegatation, why should other people have to pay for the crap of the few? honsestly I dont think that i, or any other LEGITIMATE bidder should have to have a "deadbeat bidder" fee incorporated somehow into the system

I always felt the featured auction fee was way too high, and never used it. You are going to have bad apples no matter where you sell your wares. Ebay has millions of registered users from all walks of life. They certainly could not possibly account for thousands of NPB in a given month. You have to place your own protective measures and just hope it works out. Just look at all the Jack A$$es who hang out here in this little site... multiply that by 10000 and welcome to Ebay. You have a choice to try to sell in a smaller community with more control, or use the site that millions click on everyday and just hope for the best. Looks like the best way to cut your losses is to not use the featured auctions option and trust the search engine more.
