1) I am selling a piece of clothing on Ebay. The listing is quite short but I have an entire sentence which is "It is in superb condition." I just received a question asking what kind of condition it is in. F**k's sake.

2) Self-checkout at Walmart, why do these suck so much? If the machine isn't making it impossible to buy DVDs at the thing because of their security that has to be scanned on some silly star thing (which doesn't work), I'm buying spray paint and having to wait for a cashier to confirm my age or, worse and happens all the damn time, I'm buying something too light for the scale to pick up so it sits there begging me to bag the item (and skip bagging is not always possible, either). I estimate that 3/4 of the time the self-checkout is a bit faster if I have a few heavily weighted 100% benign items, otherwise it's much slower than a real cashier, but it continues to frustrate!

Thanks for reading. The easter egg is this link. and if you have to ask why, I share in your sadness.

Happy Thanksgiving :)

1. Meh. what did you expect?

2. I've been in this predicament numerous times. I just smack the sensor until it registers.

I agree about Wal Mart. I've used self checkout at numerous stores...but wal mart is by far the leader in sucking at self checkout.

i only use self check out for certain items and generally only if the normal lines are busy

like i would never buy a broom in a self check out isle , where i am likely to use self check out for hemorrhoid cream

Ah, see what you did there is go to Wal-Mart. That's your problem.

Don't hate on walmart. We all can't be stuck up and shop at target.

So I guess that means Stein Mart is like Saks to you folks, huh?

My boss has an excellent rant on wal-mart. Needless to say it was over a DVD player that was about 20% cheaper than our vendor and wal-mart is a 10 min walk from our building. Free shipping in store pickup vs $10 or so to have it delivered.

He spent 2 hours in the store going through associates that could get him his package.

15 mins was spent clearing the front of the old lay-a-way area to get into the place the package was.

WalMart has good deals...just don't expect not to pay in time sometimes.
