Rant: Damnit, eating food is a PITA

Yeah, well this is my 3rd month with braces and its been going pretty well except the last time I just went 2 days ago. The teeth right infront of my molars, (I don't remember the name, the bi- somethings). Anyway, they weren't attached to the chain yet because they have to be rotated 45 degrees. They put the bracket on those teeth on each end so 4 total attached and a chain to pull it back to where it should be. My top left one has moved completely but the rest are taking so much time. I can barely chew and I have to chew so slowly. I'm just chewing my left side for now, which seems to be doing a little better. Bah!

Oh yeah, I got sick of soft foods really fast. I'm going to have some noodles for dinner today...

I remember braces. I never follwed the correct foods to eat. I even got them off a month early too due to "rapid tooth movement" I think I was only crippled for 3-4 hours after a wire change. Gum, ice, taffy, whatever, I ate it.

I feel you. I just got over a cut on my tongue that kept me from eating much food. It was so sore that I could not chew properly. I feel your pain!

Yeah, I don't eat the correct foods either. I chew gum whenever I feel like it, hehe

Yes it could be, but this is bad enough. I can't even have some Oreos I bought before they added those brackets... *sigh* They're sitting in the kitchen... its kind of like self-torture... I bought em and now I can't us em...
