I think so...

I haven't seen worm spread like crazy until recently. i.e. MSblaster, sobig ...

Average Joe six pack know jack sh!t, don't patch OS, misconfigure their setting, thus making their machine easy target for all virus, trojan, DDOS attack, and platform to spread those sh!t...

Consider an average american don't know how to program VCR, I have no hope..

On the other hand, Microsoft Worms Crash Ohio Nuke Plant, MD Trains

When someone can't drive, people die. When someone can't operate a computer, nothing happens

The Slammer worm penetrated a private computer network at Ohio's Davis-Besse nuclear power plant in January and disabled a safety monitoring system for nearly five hours, despite a belief by plant personnel that the network was protected by a firewall, SecurityFocus has learned

so, let's say the Nuke plant melt down due to the safety feature disable by virus attacking the non-patching, misconfigure system...... hmm...

Apparently, the average American is only vaguely familiar with the English language. Maybe Congress should legislate the abuse of the language and duct tape your mouth closed until you can pass a 6th grade English class.

I was planning to type almost the exact same thing. Misuse of a car kills many people. Misuse of a computer MIGHT allow someone else (who is a criminal) to cause minor financial problems for some large companies.
